Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Travis attended the University of Louisville on a full scholarship at age 17. With many acceptance letters to choose from Travis decided on the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue his Law Degree. Graduating with his Juris Doctorate of Law in May 1997, Travis began practicing in 1998 with an emphasis on Family Law cases.
The clients he services provide challenges every day, working with a commitment and dedication to alleviating stress while accurately and diligently handling their cases.

Joseph Camenzind IV

Originally from New jersey, Joseph “Joe” attended Hawaii Pacific University before attending the Seton Hall University School of Law. Joe graduated with his Juris Doctorate of Law in 2003. Joe first began practicing in 2004 with an emphasis on Family Law cases. Focused on providing exceptional service, Joe thoughtfully execute on his promise.

Jacquelyn Bickar
Managing Attorney
Jacquelyn is a San Jose native who decided to earn her Juris Doctor from California School of Law in San Diego in 2013. With her focus primarily on family law litigation, she has also received specialized training in mediation through Conflict Resolution Mediation. Prior to joining the Law Office of Travis Whitfield, Jacquelyn worked at one of the largest domestic litigation firms in the country. In 2023, Jacquelyn was named a Rising Star in the family law practice area by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding attorneys. Her wealth of experience in both litigation and mediation allows her to diligently advocate for her client while reaching an amicable resolution in her client’s best interest.

Ernest A. Cardona
Of Counsel
A native of San Jose, Ernest is a senior family law attorney, with almost 30 years of experience running his own practice throughout greater California. Through the years Ernest has handled cases in all areas of family law, ranging from simple to complex and everything in between.
Before beginning college, Ernest served in the US Army Reserve, US Army, and the California Air National Guard. After graduating with an English degree magna cum laude from San Jose State University in 1991, Ernest attended Santa Clara University School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor degree and passing the California State Bar exam in 1995. In 2023, Ernest was also admitted to the Oregon State Bar.

Olga Rodriguez

Olga has seven years of experience as a Legal Secretary at Travis H. Whitfield Law Firm. In her role, she collaborates closely with attorneys and clients, managing various family law cases and navigating court filings across different court systems. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Olga is a valuable interpreter for clients when required.
Beyond her linguistic skills, Olga is recognized for her exceptional empathy and communication abilities. With a passion for the intricacies of law, I have dedicated the past four years to a rewarding career in the legal domain.

Brodie Cummings
Paralegal
Following High School, I joined the Army as a Paralegal Specialist. This was my first introduction to the legal field. After a term in the Army and performing the duties of a paralegal practicing primarily military justice in the Army in South Korea, Colorado, and Kentucky, I began working towards fulfilling the requirements to become a paralegal in the civilian sector. To do so, I attended De Anza Community college and receiving my Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies and my Paralegal Certification in 2019. Since this point I have strived to improve and learn in the legal field.

I have been with the Law Offices of Travis H. Whitfield for over 7 years. I handle a wide array of administrative functions. I provide direct assistance to Mr. Whitfield and the talented team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries under his management.

Paralegal
Following High school, I pursued my academic journey to Evergreen Valley College where I earned my Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies as well as my Paralegal Certificate in 2023. I have also received my Notary Licenses in the state of California. In addition, I plan to attend university to major in political studies and minor in criminology to pursue a career in the legal field.

For 18 years, I’ve been an instrumental legal assistant and paralegal specializing exclusively in Family Law.
